Mr. Reece graduated from McEachern High School in 1979, served 4 years in the 82nd Airborne Division of the U.S. Army HOOYAH!!! He graduated from Southern Polytech in 1989 with a BS in Construction Management. He has worked in a variety of construction related fields. Due to a broken foot, he started teaching Technology in 2000 at Adairsville High School. He switched to teaching Drafting at Osborne High in 2001. In 2004 he left teaching to go back to work in construction for 2 years. He has been at Wheeler High since 2006.
In 2010 he completed a M.Ed. in Instructional Technology at University of West Georgia.
Outside of school, he works with the Boy Scouts and enjoys kayaking, backpacking and photography. In 2012, he made his 7th trip to Philmont Scout Ranch.
